Exhibit of student art in Wright Gallery through Aug. 21.
“Formations,” a multimedia exhibit of work by students from all four departments in Texas A&M’s College of Architecture, will be on display through August 21, 2015 at the Wright Gallery, second floor, Building A of the Langford Architecture Center.
“The show acknowledges many dimensions of the artistic process, including formation, information, deformation and reformation, just to name a few,” said Stephen Caffey, assistant professor of architecture, who organized the exhibit.
Work in “Formations” demonstrates the depth, breadth, range and diversity of creative talent that the college’s students demonstrate across all media, he said.
Some of the pieces in the exhibit were produced as design studio and studio art projects, while other pieces represent independent gestures of technical accomplishment and expressive creativity.
