For outstanding dedication to the Texas A&M University mission, two College of Architecture employees received 2018 President’s Meritorious Service Awards, a prestigious honor bestowed upon the campus’ most outstanding staff members, supervisors and teams by university president Michael K. Young.

At a workshop for facility management graduate students in New Delhi, Sarel Lavy, Texas A&M associate professor of construction science, discussed the field’s best practices and explored avenues for teaching and research collaborations with educators in India.

The iconoclastic designs of Modern master architect Victor Lundy will be researched by Susanneh Bieber, Texas A&M assistant professor of architecture and visualization with the help of a 2018 grant from the university’s Arts and Humanities Fellows Program.

Britt Parker Medford, ENDS ’80 a noted Austin area architect and lighting designer succumbed to cancer April 2018. He was 59. A native of Tyler, Texas, he graduated with honors from Texas A&M and completed his graduate studies at the University of Virginia.
